PostHeaderIcon Uses for an iPad Bluetooth Headset

Since bluetooth was originally introduced as a communication protocol in the late nineties, the world of personal computing and general gadgetry has moved on in leaps and bounds. There are now an incredible number of uses for the technology, with one of the most popular uses of course being the connection of a bluetooth stereo headset to a bluetooth-enabled device, whether that is a computer or a personal music player.

One recent device supporting bluetooth technology that seems to have taken the world by storm is the iPad. Although this sleek, intelligent piece of kit is still fairly new on the market and many people are still asking the question “what is it for?” or “what do you actually do with it?”, you can be sure that if you connect up an iPad bluetooth headset and use it as your own personal hi-fi, you won’t be disappointed.

Although not strictly a multitasking device (not yet anyway), you can listen to music on the iPad while doing other things, so if you connect up a bluetooth headset, you will have the advantage of being completely cable-free while you play your favorite tracks and do whatever else you may be doing on your ipad.

Listening to music however is just the tip of the iceberg however. The iPad is a great device for watcing movies on the move (while you are commuting by train for example) and having a wireless headset is great for this.

If you are a musician, there are some really interesting music-making applications coming out on the iPad, and again with your bluetooth stereo headset connected, you can be wrapped up in your own music-making world.

Finally, don’t forget the various VoIP applications that are now so ubiquitous, such as Skype, which would allow you to use the microphone of a bluetooth headset as well as the headphones when communicating with friends and colleagues.

Without a doubt, connecting up a bluetooth headset can vastly expand the horizons of your new iPad.
