Buy Laptop Battery and Take Care of it
When you purchased your notebook computer, there will be a guide or manual on how to use it properly. But then, these guides more often than not miss giving details on how you can take care of the new battery that comes with it. Sometimes, the most that these manuals provide you with are vague statements that don’t usually tell you what to do and what not to do to make sure that you don’t hasten your laptop battery’s deterioration. The result is that your battery’s optimum lifespan decreases rapidly and you are later forced to buy laptop battery to replace your old one. But again, this new battery won’t come with a guide on how to use it so that it won’t lose its potency fast.
Seasoned laptop users recognize that having a long battery life is important. Although the package conveniently comes with a charger, you must know that this cannot be readily used all the time. It is because of the fact that electrical sockets can’t be available anywhere – like in a room full of people, in the car, in a public area, etc. To prevent the unwanted scenario of being trapped with a battery that has a very short lifespan, here are two effective tips:
TIP No. 1:
Remove the laptop battery charger after the computer notifies you that the battery is full. Lucky if you have an HP laptop battery because they are built to withstand overcharging. However, even these high-end batteries suffer if not used properly.
TIP No. 2:
Invest on a spare battery. Batteries deteriorate because of frequent charge-discharge cycles. Having a spare battery or two will lengthen the time in between these charge and discharge routines which in turn lets your battery function at its optimum at the longest possible time.
These may take some getting used to but in the end, your files, computing activities and your pocket will all be saved.
