The final way to program a remote (and only certain brands and models – i.e. Logitech Harmony) is by hooking it to your computer via a USB cable, and then going to the company website, and following the onscreen directions. There will be a set up wizard that will walk you through the process. You’ll enter the types and manufacturers of devices you want to control, and the wizard will set up your remote via the USB cable.
